My Mom & Dad both had the drip with unmatched music taste. I remember my mom having Aaliyah’s iconic 2001 poster hanging in tribute after her passing.
My dad, rolling through the city in his Oldsmobile with plush burgundy seats—Bumping his favorite rap music from his CD collection that was stored in his disc binder.
My parents rocked everything hot from that time: Nike, Tommy, Jordan—jerseys, baggy clothes, & the freshest sneakers.
My style became a reflection of them as I grew older: cool & casual with a 90s-meets-Gen-Z flare. That’s how Tayla Jay Beauty & Style was born. It’s only right that I carry the baton, & show the world how to piece items together with my own iconic twist.
