”Why not? Not,
why?”
Today, I had time to be in my own little world—& it was exactly what I needed.

One of my favorite things to do in my leisure is wander through little trinket stores & let my imagination run wild.
There’s something so peaceful about browsing shelves of cute, unique items that just feel like me.

I popped into Hobby Lobby and, as usual, I left inspired. I imagined every little thing finding a place in my dream boutique—the sweetest quaint gift shop nestled in a cozy small town.
Everyone in the suburb loves to stop by because each item feels hand-picked with love. It’s a place filled with charm, warmth, & joy—just like the Hallmark gift shop I adored growing up, or the World Market store I visited for the first time today. The vibes were everything.

I even found the most adorable little croissant storage case. I smiled like a babygirl when I came across it. I tucked it in my cart like a treasure—because to me, it was.

My boutique sits right by the river in my fantasy. After you grab your goodies, you can walk outside, sit on a bench, & watch the water move ever so gently.

My children will work there too—it’s our mini family hub. It’ll be theirs to run one day. That thought feels so real. I can already smell the candles burning, & hear the little doorbell jingle as someone walks in.

I end my day with my favorite salad (you already know), I treated myself to a chocolate & vanilla soft serve from Blue Bunny, since it was kind of toasty today. Let me just say—if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out!

Today, I chose to visualize my future in real time. When you dream big, you give yourself permission to live beyond limits. To create something beautiful out of the ordinary. That little boutique by the river? It’s not just a fantasy—it’s a blueprint. A reminder that every soft moment, & every sweet detail, is a step toward something authentic.

I don’t just daydream for fun. I do it because it’s a form of manifestation. I refuse to think small in a life that’s full of so many possibilities.

Until next time,
